Mike Agnew

Mike Agnew established AES in 2000 as he saw a need for a company offering engineering expertise to help small to medium sized food processing companies to improve the quality and efficiency of their production.

Mike has 40 years' experience as an Engineer specialising in the Food Processing Industry. He therefore brings a vast array of knowledge to the business which he has passed on to his team of tradesman engineers and Apprentices. Mike has worked for a number of New Zealand's major food processing companies, including Ernest Adams, Goodman Fielder, and Huttons Kiwi.

Mike is a great people person who takes pride in his work and enjoys helping clients to grow their business. He recognises the importance of offering a high level of service to his customers and ensures that all of his staff follow his example in providing excellent service through all facets of the business.

He previously held the role of National Engineering Manager for Ernest Adams. Mike's career has equipped him with a broad range of skills and experience including importing, installing and maintaining large machinery as well as consulting and Project Management.
